The installation of Greenskies solar panels to our south facing garage roof was a very simple installation.

The cylinder and boiler have been installed in the garage and so the pipe runs have been reduced to a minimum. The fitting of the panels was extremely easy and completed in less than four hours.

Since finishing the installation on 14th June 2008, the Greenstar i system boiler has only been on for ninety minutes. The Greenskies panels have been heating the hot water required by my busy family of four. Using the bare minimum of gas to heat our hot water is obviously going to greatly help benefit the environment.

The interest from people passing has been amazing. We have had a lot of questions about the solar panels and have hopefully educated quite a few about solar energy and the misconception that “Solar panels would not work with our weather”.

My young daughters have also been very interested in the installation, having both read the Solar Sam book and with environmental issues being high on the agenda at school, they have been very proud to be able to tell others about our solar panels.

I feel being able to show our installation to customers and recommending Worcester, Bosch energy efficient products will help benefit the environment and promote awareness. Solar is the future for our industry.
