Everyone is now talking about the environment and saving energy. So when I bought my new property in 2006 my partner and I decided to try and do our best for the environment and reduce our carbon footprint.

As I am a plumbing engineer and director with R&S Plumbing I work with energy efficient products on a daily basis but I still needed to know more about renewables and also what would suit my property.

I contacted Richard Blackmore TSM for renewables who visited our home and designed a system to suit our needs consisting of ground source heat pump and solar panelling which is installed on the garage roof.

This system allowed us to save energy whilst helping to save the planet and in doing so reduced our utility bills. With Richards help there was no stopping us. We started digging trenches and laying pipe work into the ground and the solar panels were erected. We received courtesy calls from Mr Nigel Bartlett.

This gave us great confidence to have a good team support from Worcester.

We are very proud of our achievement, we feel alongside Worcester we have done our best to help our environment. Renewable energy is definitely the way forward.
