Things to consider before booking an appointment
- Have you checked the electricity supply to the appliance - mains and fused spur?
- Have you got hot water?
- Have you got central heating?
- Is the mains gas turned on?
- Have you got a pre-pay gas meter - is there any credit left?
- Is the mains water on?
- Is there any visible damage to the flue outlet?
- Are all of the boiler controls switched on - thermostats (boiler, cylinder, room)?
- Is the power switch on at the appliance?
- Important safety precautions if you smell gas
