On the MT10 RF which are the day and night time settings for temperature controls?
The MT10 RF allows you to set a low temperature that will be maintained at the times when traditionally the heating would be off - for example when you’re at work or at night.
For times when you traditionally require your heating to be on
The dial with a sun symbol should be adjusted to your normal comfort level, usually around 21°c. The house will be maintained at this level when the timer is set to ‘on’.
For times when heating would normally be off
Adjustment is made to the dial with a moon symbol and should be set to around 15°c (or adjusted to your personal preference).
Purpose
It is recognised throughout the heating industry that keeping your house ‘ticking over’ at different temperature levels is more comfortable and more energy efficient than allowing it to become very cold when the heating is off, requiring a lot of energy to heat it back up again.
