Code for sustainable homes
More than a quarter of the UK’s carbon dioxide emissions come from the energy used to heat, light and run a home, so the Government has introduced the Code for Sustainable Homes, an initiative to ensure homes are being built in a way that minimises energy use and reduces emissions.
