Canklow is an important regeneration development by 2007 and is being developed in partnership with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council with work onsite already in progress. The aim for Canklow is to try to change the current public perception of the area and the new development will provide a desirable environment and modern homes for current residents as well as attracting new people to the area.
As part of the project 71 new built properties are being built to incorporate a Greenstar CDi boiler and Greenskies solar panels to provide an environmentally friendly heating and hot water solution for every tenant.
