VAULT Badges and Rewards Scheme Terms and Conditions

1. The Scheme

1.1 These Terms govern the Worcester Bosch Badges and Rewards Scheme ("Scheme"). This Scheme is available to members of the Worcester Bosch VAULT Loyalty Programme ("VAULT").

1.2 These Terms supplement the main terms and conditions of VAULT, which you have already accepted. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms and the VAULT terms, the VAULT terms shall take precedence, except where the issue relates specifically to the administration of the Badges and Rewards Programme, in which case these Terms will apply.

 

1.3 The promoter of this Scheme is Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd, company number 01993294, of Cotswold Way, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 9SW, United Kingdom ("Bosch", "we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility and Participation

2.1 Participation in the Scheme is open only registered members of VAULT ("Members", "you").

2.2 Members must be aged 18 or over and be residents of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

2.3 If your membership to VAULT is suspended or terminated for any reason, your participation in this Scheme will automatically cease, and you will forfeit any right to earn or claim Badges or Rewards.

3. Challenges, Badges and Rewards

3.1 From time to time, Bosch may make available certain tasks or objectives (“Challenges”) through the VAULT portal or the Worcester Bosch Professional App.

3.2 Each Challenge will be accompanied by its own specific conditions, including but not limited to eligibility criteria, qualifying activities, and the start and end dates for completion ("Conditions"). The Conditions form part of these Programme T&Cs.

3.3 Upon successful and verified completion of a Challenge in accordance with its Conditions, you will earn a digital badge ("Badge")

3.4 Certain Badges may also entitle you to a corresponding reward ("Reward"). The nature of any Reward will be detailed in the relevant Conditions. Not all Badges will have an associated Reward.

3.5 Rewards may include, but are not limited to:

3.5.1 VAULT loyalty points;

 

3.5.2 Discount codes for the VAULT loyalty shop; and/or

 

3.5.3 Vouchers or gift cards from third-party suppliers.

3.6 Bosch reserves the right to introduce other types of Rewards in the future.

4. Earning and Claiming Badges and Rewards

4.1 Each Badge and any associated Reward may only be earned and claimed once per Member, unless expressly stated otherwise in the Conditions.

4.2 The completion of a Challenge will be verified by Bosch, based on our records and data (for example, product registration data).

4.3 Where a Reward consists of VAULT loyalty points, we will endeavour to credit these points to your VAULT account within 28 days of verifying your completion of the Challenge. However, Bosch shall not be liable for any delay in crediting points.

4.4 All Rewards are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for any Reward, and all Rewards are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Bosch reserves the right to substitute the Reward with product(s) of equal or greater value at any time.

4.5 Where a Reward is a discount code for use in the VAULT loyalty shop (“Discount Code”), the following terms apply:​​​​​​​

4.5.1 Discount Codes are valid for a single transaction only, unless specified otherwise.​​​​​​​

4.5.2 Only one Discount Code can be used per transaction.​​​​​​​

4.5.3 Discount Codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion, and they cannot be applied to delivery charges.​​​​​​​

4.5.4 Each Discount Code will have an expiry date, specified in the Challenge Rules or at the point of issue. Expired Discount Codes will not be accepted or reissued.​​​​​​​

4.5.5 Bosch reserves the right to withdraw or amend the terms of any Discount Code at any time.

4.6 Where a Reward is a gift card or voucher from a third-party issuer (“Gift Card”), the following terms apply:​​​​​​​

4.6.1 The Gift Card will be processed by our external partner, Marketing Lounge Partnership (“MLP”).​​​​​​​

4.6.2 The Member will need to provide certain personal information (including their full name, loyalty account number, business or company name and email address) in order for MLP to process the Gift Card. The Gift Card will be issued to the email address linked to the Member’s Loyalty account. By completing a Challenge, the Member consents to MLP processing their personal data (in accordance with MLP’s own privacy policy and terms and conditions) and to being contacted by MLP by email regarding their Gift Card. Bosch shall not be liable for any act or omission of MLP, the Gift Card provider, or any of their affiliates.​​​​​​​

4.6.3 The monetary value of the Gift Card will be in GBP.

4.6.4 Bosch will send a ‘How to Claim’ email to the Member’s email address which is linked to their loyalty account if they have completed a challenge which has a Gift Card Reward (“Notification”).

4.6.5 Bosch will send the Member their Gift Card via email (“Email”.)

4.6.6 The Member will have six (6) months from the date of the Email to claim their Gift Card by revealing the Gift Card code. Once revealed, the Gift Card can be accessed through the link set out in the Email for thirty (30) days. Please note that the Member may forfeit their Gift Card if the activation process described by MLP is not followed correctly and within the stated time periods.

4.6.7 The Member will receive detailed information by MLP on how to access and activate their Gift Card, expiry of the Gift Card, and other important information each time the Member claims a Gift Card.

4.6.8 Acceptance and activation of the Gift Card may be subject to MLP’s own terms and conditions. Acceptance and use of the Gift Card is subject to the Gift Card provider’s own terms and conditions.  

5. General

5.1 Bosch’s decisions in all matters relating to the Scheme, including the interpretation of these Terms, the verification of Challenge completion, and the awarding of any Badge or Reward, are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

5.2 Bosch, at its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to:

5.2.1 amend, suspend, or terminate the Programme, or any part of it (including any Challenge, Badge, or Reward), at any time and without prior notice or liability to you;

5.2.2 disqualify any Member found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Programme, or to be acting in violation of these Programme T&Cs or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; and

5.2.3 vary the nature or value of any Reward, including if the original Reward becomes unavailable for any reason.

5.3 Bosch may, from time to time, re-launch or repeat a previous Challenge. Any such re-launched Challenge will be treated as a new and distinct Challenge. Participation and eligibility will be governed by the specific Conditions published for that re-launched Challenge.

5.4 Bosch will process the Member’s personal data, and MLP will process the Member’s personal data on Bosch’s behalf for the purposes of the Promotion and complying with its delivery commitments. Bosch’s legal basis for processing the personal data is that the processing is carried out for the legitimate business interests in connection with the Reward and, if applicable, supply of the chosen products. Bosch will not process the participants’ personal data for other purposes unless they have a legal basis for doing so. Bosch handles the Member’s personal information in a secure and confidential manner and always in accordance with the law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (2016) and applicable UK law. It will not disclose the Member’s personal information to third parties unless there is a legal basis for this. The law provides the Member with rights in relation to their personal information. 6. Miscellaneous

6.1 A waiver of any right or remedy under these Terms or by law is only effective if given in writing and shall not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent right or remedy. A failure or delay by a party to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms or by law shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy. No single or partial exercise of any right or remedy provided under these Terms or by law shall prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy.

6.2 If any provision or part-provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Terms.

6.3 These Terms do not give rise to any rights under The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term contained herein.

6.4 Except as otherwise provided in these Terms, no party may assign, sub-contract or deal in any way with, any of its rights or obligations under these Terms or any document referred to in them.

6.5 Nothing in these Terms is intended to, or shall be deemed to, establish any partnership or joint venture between any of the parties, constitute any party the agent of another party, nor authorise any party to make or enter into any commitments for or on behalf of any other party.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

7.1 These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim between Bosch and the Member relating to the Scheme or these Terms shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
