20 Questions with Abbie Ormrod

We caught up with Abbie Ormrod, Consumer Credit Finance Sales Manager here at Worcester Bosch. She answered 20 questions for us to find out a little more about her, we love her answer to the best piece of advice she has ever received, take a look:​

 

How long have you worked at Worcester Bosch? ​

This year will be my 11th year!​

Can you explain your role in one sentence? ​

I run all of our installer finance schemes whilst maintaining Worcester Bosch’s Appointed Representative finance status​

Are you more productive in the morning or in the evening? ​

That’s a tough one, my peak is midday, definitely not a morning person but love my sleep too much to have a late night!​

Heat pump, hybrid or boiler? ​

Boiler​

Would you rather fast forward to the future or go back in time – and why? ​

Go back in time, I don’t want to wish away my future!​

What’s your favourite product that we sell? ​

Our Air Conditioning units, so versatile and a great price point​

Read a book or watch a film? ​

Easiest answer of them all, read a book​

Describe your typical workday in one word​

Dynamic ​

Have you ever met a celebrity? ​

Olly Murs when I was about 13, don’t judge me.​

What’s your number one hobby outside of work? ​

Does wedding planning count as a hobby? because that’s all I seem to be doing right now​

What’s your favourite memory of working at Worcester Bosch? ​

I got to represent the business on a conference promotion trip to Slovenia a few years ago and that was a great experience ​

Countryside or city life? ​

Considering I live on a farm, I’m going to have to say countryside ​

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? ​

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail – delivered by my very wise Grandad ​

Coffee or tea? ​

Coffee all day long​

Where’s the best place you’ve travelled to? ​

Tough choice but I’m going to go for New York, just a different world that place. ​

What was your favourite subject at school? ​

Dance​

If you could have one superpower, what would it be? ​

Shapeshifting ​

What is your favourite season? ​

Autumn, give me all the cozy jumpers, hot chocolates, bonfires and comfort food​

What are you most excited about seeing in the industry this year? ​

The growth of the heat pump market and what that landscape is going to look like in the UK
