Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week this year is celebrating the power and importance of community.

We know that this industry and the work you as installers do can be tough but we want to encourage you to look after yourselves and your mental health.

Feeling involved

Belonging to a community can bring a greater sense of purpose and joy, boost our happiness and sense of security, and support our mental wellbeing. However, even though we’re all part of communities in some way, we don’t always recognise how much they can benefit our mental health.

What our installers had to say

We asked some installers what they do to disconnect from work and feel good. Having hobbies or plans to look forward to outside of work was the top comment, as it is beneficial to reset your mind after a days work. Some installers have said the main piece of advice they would have is to not be afraid to reach out to family, friends or colleagues.
