Hybrid heat pumps now compliant with MCS requirements
We're happy to announce that hybrid heat pump systems now meet MCS requirements! This comes after an update to the MCS Heat Pump Design Standard document, which clarifies when a hybrid heat pump system is considered compliant. The update also outlines a new installation procedure, requirements to meet a minimum heat load and that controls shall be capable of prioritising the heat pump. This is great news as it opens the door for more hybrid installations, giving you the opportunity to become MCS certified and diversify into hybrids.
