Part L building regulation changes and TRV's

It is mandatory now for installers to fit TRV’s onto any new heating system or a boiler replacement.

This means that any time you are replacing a heating system moving forward, you will have to ensure that TRVs are placed on all radiators – aside from the one where the room thermostat is situated.

The only exception is if the home already has fully functional TRVs then you don’t need to replace them.
