Worcester Accredited Installers - Important Information

This information has been updated please go here for the latest version.

What is a Worcester Accredited Installer?

Worcester Accredited Installers (WAIs) are accredited to install Worcester boilers, solar water heating, and heat pumps to the highest standard.

Although these heating engineers are not directly employed by us, we are happy to promote their businesses to you through our Find an installer search.

We suggest that you contact more than one accredited installer, to ensure you can make a fully informed decision.

Many of the installation companies are also accredited for government grant schemes but do please check with them individually.

What can Worcester Accredited Installers offer me?

As well as specialising in Worcester’s products, these heating engineers can also offer:

  • Extended guarantees* between 3 and 7 years, depending on the installer and the product
  • Advice and prices on a new Worcester boiler, solar water heating system, heat pump or underfloor heating installation
  • Central heating installation and heating system tips
  • Boiler servicing and maintenance Boiler repair or replacement
  • Extended guarantees
  • Our standard product guarantee period is usually 2 years
  • Many of our accredited installers can offer longer guarantee periods ranging from 3 to 7 years

We also run national guarantee promotions, so please check this website or ask your installer for up-to-date offers and product information.

Why and how does Worcester, Bosch Group offer accreditation to some installers?

We want to provide homeowners with peace of mind when they are upgrading their home heating system. We invite heating engineers who we deem as reputable, quality-conscious and representing value for money to join our Worcester Accredited Installer scheme.

The installers must have relevant Gas Safe, OFTEC and/or MCS approval and to be a Worcester Accredited Installer for certain products, they must also have attended Logic certified training courses on our boilers, solar thermal systems, heat pumps and/or underfloor heating.

We check the installers’ Gas Safe, OFTEC and/or MCS accreditation on a regular basis. However we always recommend to homeowners that they verify these membership statuses with the awarding bodies directly via their websites.

Why do I need a heating and hot water installer?

Due to the complexity of modern heating systems, installation, service or repair work should only be undertaken by a qualified heating engineer.

This is why most manufacturers of heating and hot water appliances such as boilers, solar thermal and heat pumps only supply through trade merchants, rather than directly to end users. It is also why we are unable to publish product prices on our website.

Who are the ‘National installers’ also listed on Find an installer?

These are a selection of larger independent installation companies who are able to offer nationwide coverage and support.

How can I give Worcester feedback about the installers?

If you ask an installer for advice via our website, we do contact you a few days later to see how you got on. However, we are happy to hear from you at any time so please do get in touch to tell us about your experience of using one of the listed installers.
