Freddie's spectacular eco house lego model and accompanying landscape drawing highlights the manner in which alternative sources of energy should be incorporated into residential building design. Despite only being six years old, Freddie already has aspirations of being an architect and has always enjoyed drawing and building houses since an early age. Following a school talk on the importance of using alternative sources of energy to protect the environment, Freddie got straight to work on his lego model and even drew his own diagram to explain the role of each of its key features. The whole family is really proud of Freddie's achievement as this is the first time he has ever entered a competition because of his interest in construction. Shirley Blanch, Freddie's mum.
