The owners of an extended farmhouse in Cambridgeshire contacted Neil Pleasants when they wanted to add an extra bedroom to their four bedroom property. An adjoining eight bedroom bed and breakfast meant removing a condemned oil-fired boiler and storage tank and starting from scratch.
Neil took into account the planned hot water demand of the property’s new layout and fitted a floor-standing Greenstar Utility 50/70 oil boiler with a 300 litre Greenstore unvented cylinder. With the added benefit of a Greenskies Solar-Lux 6 mounted on the property’s roof, underfloor heating throughout, and zoned control, the system’s performance is as efficient as possible.
