Quick gas boiler help

Occasionally, your gas boiler may display codes or flashing light sequences. This could indicate that your boiler needs servicing or resetting, or that your heating system needs repressurising.

What is your 28Si II (discontinued June 2007) showing?

There are no lights lit permanently on the display?

No lights lit permanently on the display:

Firstly, check there is a power supply to the boiler. Take care when doing this or ask a competent person or an installer to help.

If there is a power supply to the boiler then an engineer is needed. Please call our service department on 0330 123 9339 or request a service appointment online by clicking on the link below.

The pressure is reading below one bar?

Pressure reads below one bar:

If your boiler’s pressure gauge reads below 1 bar, it means that your boiler needs repressurising.

This can be done using an internal filling key or using a external filling hose.

A red flashing light?

A red flashing light:

If your boiler has a red flashing light on the display, this may mean it needs resetting.

In order to reset the Si II boiler, press and hold the reset button (button has a warning sign triangle above it) as indicated above, for 5 seconds.
