Celebrating 60 years
We’re celebrating our 60th year by rewarding those customers, installers, and employees that go above and beyond for their community. Here’s some of our recent winners’ stories.
Hero neighbour
Meet Dawn, one of our first 60th year competition winners. Dawn was nominated by her neighbour Dean after she gave him life-saving CPR he suffered a cardiac arrest on her street. Dean and Dawn have become great friends since, and Dawn has been deservingly rewarded with a £250 National Trust gift card.
Community hero gives back
We’re rewarding those installer legends that go above and beyond for the community. David from Gas Angels is one of these heroes who gave back to his community by offering free gas safety checks to households who were hosting Ukrainian families in their time of need. David and his team have been rewarded with a new Bosch High pressure washer.
Selfless war veteran
Another of our deserving community heroes is Damien who was nominated by his landlord and friend Richard. Damien is a war veteran who suffered with PTSD and life changing injuries, but despite this, he puts others first, making them laugh and making them feel welcome. Damien was rewarded with a Bosch Washer/Dryer, which got the seal of approval from his service dog Joey
Outstanding team member
We’re celebrating our outstanding employees who do the most. Our deserving winner Elliot Yeomans, Training and Recruitment Supervisor was nominated by teammate Laura for doing just that. Elliot goes out of his way to make everyone feel at ease and comfortable when learning, and is quick to give our praise and kindness to his fellow employees. Elliot has been rewarded with a ‘Golden Ticket’ for free lunch and hot drinks for a month at our CH&Co café’s.
Fundraising legends
Meet these legends, Tareq Englefield and the Roost Heating team, who have gone above and beyond in their community raising funds for charity Mind Solent by walking 15 miles and servicing boilers on their way. What a great initiative to raise money and support the community. The team have received a thrill-seeking zip wire experience.
Supporting local charities
We rewarded another deserving winner who was nominated for our consumer competition, Joanna has been giving back in her community, helping a number of local charities for many years. Joanna was rewarded with a huge bunch of fresh flowers.
