Update 07/02/23 22:23

Good evening. Regarding the issue with the app on our EasyControl smart thermostat where you cannot currently access the app; we have been notified by our central team that this is being worked on but the fix will likely be tomorrow morning, please ensure you have automatic updates turned on in your phones settings to make sure any changes happen as soon as possible.

In the meantime please do not take the EasyControl off the wall or reset the unit, if left as normal the unit should carry on as normal following your time programmes or last settings. If for any reason it has disconnected from the boiler entirely you may be able to use a manual mode or override depending what appliance you have - if this is the case please call our technical team first thing tomorrow on 0330 123 3641, or if able wait for the update.

We will keep customers updated via our social media pages when the update happens, or if there are any further issues.

In order to use the heating in the meantime:

Providing the EasyControl remains connected to the boiler you can control your heating by doing the following:

On the EasyControl unit itself swipe up or down on the temperature screen to set a new temperature for the boiler to follow.

If you have eTRVs you can use the + and - arrow to set a temperature for that radiator - it can take a few minutes for the change to take place.

If you have it in home and away you can swipe across on the EasyControl screen to the home symbol and change it to home.

We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience, we are working hard to get this sorted as quickly as possible.
