#ShareYourStyle Competition

General

1. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

2. The promoter is Bosch Thermotechnology Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 01993294, whose registered office address is Cotswold Way, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 9SW, United Kingdom (“Promoter”).

3. The Competition comprises a monthly competition (the “Share Your Style”) with one winner per month (see below) for four consecutive months.

4. The Competition will commence on 08:00 (GMT) on 1st September 2019. The closing date for receipt of Entries is 23:59pm (GMT) on the last day of the month you have entered. The Competition will end on 31st December 2019 (“Closing Date”).

5. The Competition is open to homeowners based in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over (“Eligible Participant” or “Participant”). Employees of the Promoter, or of any other company within the Bosch group of companies (including BSH Home Appliances Limited), and their immediate family members, Bosch’s agents or their employees, or any person professionally associated with this Competition (or members of their family or household) are excluded from participating. Installers of the Boiler (defined below) are excluded from the Competition.

6. The Promoter assumes that by entering the Competition (and the Participant warrants that) the Participant is aged 18 or over. Participants entering the Competition as an employee of an organisation have an obligation to (i) inform their employer about the Competition, and (ii) obtain the permission of their employer to enter the Competition.

The Entry

7. An Eligible Participant will automatically be entered into the Competition if they:

  1. Post a picture of one of the Participant’s Greenstar 8000 Lifestyle Life or Style branded boiler (“Boiler”) installation in their home complying with the requirements of these Terms, in particular clause 8, (the “Picture”) and tag the Promoter’s consumer channels- Instagram and/or Facebook page;
  2. add #ShareYourStyle to the Picture; and
  3. follow the Promoter’s profile at https://www.instagram.com/worcesterbosch/ or Worcester Bosch on Facebook. 

(together the “Entry”).

8. The Picture must

  1. not be older than three (3) months;
  2. show a correct and legally compliant installation of a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000 Life or Style branded boiler;
  3. and show the Boiler in its entirety.

9. Only one “Share Your Style” boiler entry per household will be accepted.

10. It is the sole responsibility of the Participant to make sure that the Picture complies with any data protection legislation, does not show anything else other than the Boiler and, in particular, does not allow any conclusion to be made about the homeowner or the homeowner’s address.

11. Each Entry will assessed by the Promoter’s technical support team (consisting of three (3) engineers) for its eligibility for entry in the Competition and will approve it provided that:

  1. it complies with the requirements of these Terms; and
  2. the Picture shows that the Boiler was installed correctly

(the “Approved Entry”).

12. Any Entry that does not contain the information required pursuant to the Terms will be an invalid Entry and will not be entered into the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right and has complete discretion to disqualify any Entry deemed unsuitable, inappropriate, explicit or offensive, and accepts no responsibility for Entries not successfully or fully completed due to any reason including technical faults. Disqualified entrants will not be informed.

13. Only one Entry can be made per Eligible Participant; additional Entries made by the same Eligible Participant and Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted. Identical Entries made by the same Participant on both Facebook and Instagram will be deemed to be one single Entry.

The Share Your Style

14. By the end of the first week of the month following the entry month, each Approved Entry entered within the previous month will be re-posted by the Promoter on the Promoter’s Instagram and Facebook pages. Subject to clause 31, the Participants give their consent to the Promoter to re-post their Picture.

15. Within a period of 72 hours from the initial time of the re-posting, all visitors of the Promoter’s Facebook and/or Instagram page may vote for their favourite re-posted Picture by way of commenting with their preferred picture (“Competition Period”)

16. The re-posted Picture with the most favourable comments on both the Promoter’s Facebook and Instagram pages combined is the winner of the relevant month’s Share Your Style Competition (the “Winner of the Month”). In case there is more than one Picture with the highest number of favourable comments, a random draw will decide which Pictures wins.

The Prize for the Share Your Style

17. The prize for the Share Your Style shall be one (1) £50 John Lewis voucher (“Monthly Prize”).

18. There will be one (1) Monthly Prize in total that will be awarded to one (1) individual Eligible Participant.

19. The Promoter will identify and notify the Winner of the Month within a period of ten (10) days from the end of the Competition Period. A Winner of the Month gives their consent to be notified by a post on Instagram and/or Facebook respectively and to be sent a Facebook/Instagram message from worcesterbosch (“Notification”)

20. The Winner of the Month must contact the Promoter within 14 days of the date of the Notification to claim the Monthly Prize and provide the Promoter with their delivery address (“Winner Confirmation”). If a Winner of the Month fails to claim the Monthly Prize, such Winner of the Month will forfeit the Monthly Prize. In this event, the Approved Picture with the next highest number of likes will be chosen as the Monthly Winner.

21. The Promoter will arrange for the Monthly Prize to be delivered to the Winner of the Month at the Promoter’s cost. Please allow up to 28 days from the Winner Confirmation for delivery of the Monthly Prize.

Other important information

22. The Monthly Prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any or all of the Prizes with a prize of equal or greater value at any time.

23. In all matters relating to the Competition, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

24. At all times throughout the Competition, participants must deal with the Promoter in the utmost good faith in every respect. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and disqualify any participant that it has reasonable grounds to believe has breached any of the Terms, including, but not limited to, falsifying any information submitted to or requested by the Promoter.

25. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or terminate the Competition at any time without notice. However, the Promoter will use its reasonable endeavours to minimise the effect of such amendment or termination to avoid disappointment. Any termination or amendment to the Competition will be communicated in the same way as the Competition was communicated.

26. The Competition cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions that are run by the Promoter or any company within the Bosch group of companies.

27. The Promoter excludes all liability for taxes relating to Prize(s) and any tax liability arising from the provision of the Prize(s) will be the sole responsibility of the recipient of the Prize(s).

28. The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your Entry, nor does the Promoter accept responsibility for the return of any Entry, including those consisting of artistic or other material.

29. The Monthly Winners’ name(s) can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to: Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd., Cotswold Way, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 9SW United Kingdom.

30. The Competition is not affiliated with Instagram and/or Facebook and is in no way connected with, sponsored or otherwise supported, accompanied or monitored by Instagram and/or Facebook or any subsidiary companies and/or associates. All questions, comments or complaints relating to the Competition should be addressed to the Promoter and not to Instagram or Facebook.

31. If a Participant does not wish for their details or Entry to be entered into the Competition or if they opt out, or wish to re-enter, they can advise the Promoter by writing to its address set out in clause 2, or by email to: Marketing.Wo@uk.bosch.com.

32. The Promoter will process the Participants’ personal data on the Promoter’s behalf for the purposes of the Competition and complying with its delivery commitments. The Promoter’s legal basis for processing the personal data is that the processing is carried out for the legitimate business interests in connection with the Competition and, if applicable, supply of the chosen products. The Promoter will not process the participants’ personal data for other purposes unless they have a legal basis for doing so. The Promoter handles the participants’ personal information in a secure and confidential manner and always in accordance with the law, including the Data Protection Act 2018. It will not disclose the Participants’ personal information to third parties unless there is a legal basis for this. The law provides the Participants with rights in relation to their personal information. 33. The Competition will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Competition.
