What are the servicing requirements of a heat pump?
Servicing and maintenance of your heat pump should be carried out annually in order to maintain the guarantee and to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
An air source heat pump requires the external unit to be kept free of leaves and debris, any filters within also need cleaning or replacing. Part of your service will include a system water quality check, on your unvented, mains water pressure cylinder.
If your heat pump is part of a hybrid system with a boiler as well, both will need annual servicing to keep their guarantees valid.
