Winter win a boiler prize draw (the ”Promotion”)

1.            By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms”).

2.            The promoter is Bosch Thermotechnology Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 01993294, whose registered office address is at Cotswold Way, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 9SW United Kingdom (the “Promoter”).

3.            The Promotion is open to all individuals aged 18 or over who are resident in the United Kingdom (except for employees of the Promoter or of any other company within the Bosch group of companies (including BSH Home Appliances Limited), and their immediate family members, Bosch’s agents or their employees, or any person professionally associated with this Competition) (the “Eligible Participants”).

4.            The Promoter assumes that by entering the Promotion (and you warrant that) the participant is aged 18 or over. Participants entering the Promotion as an employee of an organisation have an obligation to (i) inform their employer about the Promotion, and (ii) obtain the permission of their employer to enter the Promotion.

5.            The Promotion is open from Monday 3rd February 2020 00:01 BST to Friday 6th March 2020 23:59 BST (the “Promotional Period”).

Entry:

6.            To enter into the Promotion and get a chance to win, Eligible Participants must

6.1.         visit www.worcester-bosch.com/win-a-boiler; and

6.2.         submit their details, and

6.3.         answer the question “What is the guarantee length shown in the advert?”. A link to the relevant advert can be found on the webpage as stated above

(together the “Entry”).

7.            Only one Entry can be made per Eligible Participant; additional Entries made by the same Eligible Participant and Entries received after expiry of the Promotional Period will not be accepted.

8.            Any Entry that does not contain the information required above will be an invalid Entry and will not be entered into the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right and has complete discretion to disqualify any Entry deemed unsuitable, inappropriate, fraudulent, explicit or offensive, and accepts no responsibility for Entries not successfully or fully completed due to any reason including technical faults.

9.            All valid and correct Entries will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a prize. One prize-winner will be chosen at random from all qualifying Entries within four (4) days of the Closing Date (the “Winner(s)”).

Prize:

10.          The prize shall be (subject to clause 12 and 13):

•             one Worcester Bosch Greenstar Lifestyle range gas boiler,

•             a Worcester Bosch system filter,

•             including installation in accordance with and up to the maximum cost as per clause 13, and

•             a Bosch EasyControl

(together the “Prize”).

11.          There will be one (1) Prize in total that will be awarded to one (1) individual Eligible Participant.

12.          The Promoter will, based on a survey conducted by the Installer as per clause 12, decide on the exact boiler model. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, substitute

12.1.      the Greenstar Lifestyle range gas boiler for an alternative gas boiler if the survey results show that the boiler is not suitable for the property, and

12.2.      the Bosch EasyControl for an alternative control if the chosen boiler is not compatible with the Bosch EasyControl.

13.          The installation (including removal of the existing boiler) shall be done by a Gas Safe Registered Worcester Accredited Installer local to the Winner’s property (the “Installer”) following a survey completed by the Installer, provided that the installation does not include a high degree of complexity and does not exceed the following maximum amount (depending on the current and required type of boiler and installation):

Combi to combi, system to system, system to combi:       up to £750 (incl. VAT)

Regular to regular:                                                                                           up to £1000 (incl. VAT)

Regular to system:                                                                                           up to  £1500 (incl. VAT)

Regular to combi:                                                                                             up to £1500 (incl. VAT)

Where the cost of the removal and installation exceeds the maximum amount as stated above, the Winner agrees to pay the difference between the actual price of the removal and installation and the maximum amount specified above directly to the Installer.

14.          The Winner gives their consent to be notified by the email address provided during entry on the webpage from the Promoter within ten (10) days of the Winners being identified (“Notification”).

15.          Once the Winner has been notified that they have won, they will have 48 hours to claim their Prize. If a Winner fails to claim the Prize, such Winner will forfeit the Prize and another valid Entry will be drawn.

16.          Full details of the Prize will be supplied to the Winner following the survey by an Installer as per clause 13.

17.          The Prize is not transferable, non-refundable and, subject to clause 18, cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. Without prejudice to clause 12, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with product(s) of equal or greater value at any time.

18.          If the Winner has decided to have a Worcester Bosch boiler installed within the Promotional Period and has instructed a Worcester Accredited Installer to undertake the installation work, the Promoter may, on the Winner’s request and at the Promoter’s sole discretion, substitute the Prize by a payment in the amount as deemed reasonable by the Promoter but in no case exceeding a total of £2,900. The Winner shall provide the Promotor with receipts to prove purchase and date of installation (prices shall be redacted), and reserves the right to refuse such request.

19.          The Prize or any promotional item(s) must not be auctioned or resold. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to accept further entries under this or any other promotion if it becomes aware of the reselling or auctioning of the Prize or any promotional item(s).

20.          The Promotor shall use reasonable endeavours to provide the Winner with their Prize by or before 15th May 2020.

General:

21.          In all matters relating to the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

22.          At all times throughout the Promotion, participants must deal with the Promoter in the utmost good faith in every respect. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and disqualify any participant that it has reasonable grounds to believe has breached any of the Terms, including, but not limited to, falsifying any information submitted to or requested by the Promoter.

23.          The Promoter reserves the right to amend or terminate the Promotion at any time without notice. However, the Promoter will use its reasonable endeavours to minimise the effect of such amendment or termination to avoid disappointment. Any termination or amendment to the Promotion will be communicated in the same way as the Promotion was communicated.

24.          The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions that are run by the Promoter or any company within the Bosch group of companies.

25.          The Promoter excludes all liability for taxes relating to the Prize and any tax liability arising from the provision of the Prize will be the sole responsibility of the recipient of the Prize.

26.          The Winner’s name can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to: Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd., Cotswold Way, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 9SW United Kingdom.

27.          The Promotion is not affiliated with any social media provider such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube etc. and is in no way connected with, sponsored or otherwise supported, accompanied or monitored by them or any subsidiary companies and/or associates. All questions, comments or complaints relating to the Promotion should be addressed to the Promoter directly.

28.          If a participant does not wish for their details to be entered into the Promotion or if they opt out but then wish to re-enter, they can advise the Promoter by writing to its address set out in clause 2, or by email to: Marketing.Wo@uk.bosch.com.

29.          The Promoter will process the participants’ personal data on the Promoter’s behalf for the purposes of the Promotion and complying with its delivery commitments. The Promoter’s legal basis for processing the personal data is that the processing is carried out for the legitimate business interests in connection with the Promotion and, if applicable, supply of the chosen products. The Promoter will not process the participants’ personal data for other purposes unless they have a legal basis for doing so. The Promoter handles the participants’ personal information in a secure and confidential manner and always in accordance with the law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (2016) and applicable UK law. It will not disclose the participants’ personal information to third parties unless there is a legal basis for this. The law provides the participants with rights in relation to their personal information. 30.          The Promotion will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Promotion.
